Amauta is a Registered Investment Advisor. We are active money managers that monitor metrics from different research companies and social media sentiment to determine direction of a particular stock or sector.

How does Amauta Work?

At Amauta we use concentrated strategies with companies of all sizes. We try our hardest to keep macro concerns out of our decision process. We use data from holdings of the largest funds on Wall Street to select their highest conviction stocks. We use our proprietary investment selection process to invest your money directly into these stocks that are updated on a monthly basis. We then, based on your risk tolerance, give you a personalized "hedge" exposure of 0-50% using cash.

How safe is my money?

At Amauta we take security very seriously. We protect all your personal data and financial information using Secure Sokets Layer (SSL) and 256-bit encryption. Your assets are held at one of our custodians, either LPL Financial or Interactive Brokers both being leading custodians across the financial industry.

How liquid is my money?

At Amauta we don't believe in locking up your assets so, you can add or withdrawl funds usually within 2-4 business days. However, we strongly encourage a long-term oriented mind set of buy and hold.

Our pricing is very transparent. We charge a flat fee of up to 2% per year of the assets we manage for you.

Can you tell me more about how my money will be invested?

Your money will be invested according to your risk tolerance and investment objectives into one of our seven different portfolio models that we manage at Amauta. Usually, these consist of a basket of 10-40 stocks. These are high quality businesses as determined by criterias of our own proprietary investment selection process. Your portfolio will also hold a level of cash, used as a "hedge" in choppy market environments. Rebalancing happens every month and a few stocks usually leave the portfolio and others come in. Any of our seven models are customizable to fit your individual needs and risk tolerance.

How much and how often should I invest?

It depends on your goals, risk tollerance and investment objectives. We recommend contributing on a recurring basis to establish a healthly investment habit.
